Summary
Build and grow the company by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across both B2B and B2C markets, with a particular focus on selling accredited health and safety training courses, consultancy services and long-term client relationships.
Wage £15,392 to £24,454.04, depending on your age
Starting pay £10 per hour which is above Apprenticeship Minimum Wage for year one. Opportunity to progress to the Real Living Wage.
Hours 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday, working hours to be confirmed.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This role is ideal for a current sales or business development professional looking to make their next steps within sales as a trainee Executive. The successful candidate will have sales experience and be familiar working in an office environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell accredited training courses, primarily NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications
- Identify and develop new Business to Business training opportunities with employers and organisations
- Build relationships with prospective clients through telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking and digital marketing activities
- Attend local employment events, networking groups, exhibitions and trade shows to promote the business
- Research and identify new business opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline
- Search for, review and assist with the preparation of PQQs, tender submissions and framework applications
- Support bid writing and contract acquisition activities
- Follow up customer enquiries, quotations and proposals
- Maintain CRM records and sales activity reporting
- Assist with marketing campaigns promoting both Business to Business and Business to Consumer services
- Support the growth of corporate training contracts, consultancy services and repeat business opportunities
- Develop a sound understanding of health and safety training and consultancy services to support customer enquiries and sales conversations
- Build and grow a new department with future management responsibilities

Training schedule
The apprenticeship is an onsite delivery and as such will be supported by regular reviews and meetings with your tutor online. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the occupational standard. A certain percentage of your time will be spent on the job with the other percentage being for off the job learning, this can include: Job shadowing, Assignments, College lessons.

Essential qualifications
- GCSE in: English (grade 4)
- GCSE in: Maths (grade 4)
- A Level in: related subject (grade pass)
- A level equivalent (E.G NVQ or BTEC) in: relevant subject (grade pass)

About this employer
TrAC Futures is a DfE approved Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency who will employ you for the duration of the apprenticeship and pay your salary. You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will employ you throughout, as well as continuing to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
