Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step into leadership? Angelic Wings The Dove Room is recruiting for a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprentice to join their dedicated team.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced leadership skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification and continuing to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.

Available Positions

  • 1 Full-Time Vacancy: 9 hours per day (flexible)
  • 1 Part-Time Vacancy: 5.5 hours per day (flexible)

Salary

  • £15.25 per hour

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Nursery opening hours: 8:15am - 5:45pm
  • Flexible working patterns available

About the Role

As a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprentice, you will:

  • Lead high-quality Early Years practice across the setting
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Act as a role model and mentor for colleagues
  • Plan and oversee engaging activities aligned to the EYFS
  • Support observation, assessment, and tracking of children's progress
  • Develop positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • Promote inclusive practice and support children with additional needs
  • Help maintain outstanding safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement across the nursery

About the Apprenticeship

The Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship is designed for experienced practitioners ready to progress into leadership roles within Early Years settings.

The programme includes:

  • Advanced leadership and management training
  • Online learning and assignments
  • Virtual workshops and webinars
  • Dedicated support from an experienced tutor
  • Workplace observations and professional discussions
  • Training focused on leading practice, supporting colleagues, and improving outcomes for children
  • No regular college attendance required

Entry Requirements

Applicants must already hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
