Nuovo Clinic Academy is a medically led aesthetics training provider committed to delivering high-quality education, practical training and professional development. We support learners in developing the knowledge, clinical skills and confidence required to practise safely and effectively within the aesthetics industry.
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Level 7 Aesthetics Trainer to join our growing academy.
The Role
The Level 7 Aesthetics Trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging, evidence-based theoretical and practical training across our regulated aesthetics programmes.
The successful candidate will support learners throughout their qualifications, assess their knowledge and clinical competence, provide constructive feedback and ensure that all training meets the requirements of the relevant awarding organisation.
This role would suit an experienced aesthetics practitioner and educator who is passionate about raising standards within the industry and supporting learners to become safe, knowledgeable and confident practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regulated Level 7 aesthetics qualifications in line with the approved programme specification and awarding organisation requirements.
- Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in aesthetic procedures.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, learning materials and practical demonstrations.
- Teach and reinforce anatomy, physiology, consultation, treatment planning, clinical assessment, injection techniques, complication management and patient safety.
- Supervise learners during practical training and clinical assessments.
- Assess learner knowledge, practical skills and clinical competence fairly and consistently.
- Mark assignments, portfolios, case studies and other assessment evidence within agreed timescales.
- Provide clear, constructive and developmental feedback to learners.
- Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation and progress reports.
- Conduct learner reviews and provide additional support where required.
- Ensure all assessment decisions comply with the relevant awarding organisation’s standards.
- Work closely with internal quality assurers, external quality assurers and academy management.
- Support internal and external quality assurance activities, including standardisation meetings and sampling.
- Maintain a safe, professional and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure training rooms, clinical areas, equipment and learning resources are prepared appropriately.
- Follow all academy policies relating to health and safety, infection prevention and control, safeguarding, equality, diversity and data protection.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aesthetics practice, regulatory requirements, awarding organisation standards and industry developments.
- Complete ongoing continuing professional development and maintain an appropriate CPD portfolio.
- Represent Nuovo Clinic Academy professionally at all times.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must:
- Hold a regulated Level 7 qualification in aesthetic practice.
- Hold a regulated Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or a higher recognised teaching qualification.
- Have substantial practical experience delivering aesthetic treatments.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of facial anatomy, consultation, patient assessment, treatment planning and complication management.
- Have experience teaching, mentoring, supervising or assessing learners within a clinical or aesthetics environment.
- Be confident delivering both classroom-based theory and practical clinical training.
- Have excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Ideally, applicants will:
- Have experience delivering regulated aesthetics qualifications through an awarding organisation such as Qualifi, ProQual, OTHM or Focus Awards.
- Hold a regulated assessing qualification, such as the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent.
- Have experience preparing learners for practical observations, portfolio assessments and externally quality-assured qualifications.
- Have experience participating in standardisation activities and external quality assurance visits.
- Hold a relevant professional healthcare registration (preferred, not essential)
- Be confident using online learning platforms and digital assessment systems.

This role can be offered on a Part-Time basis and offers hybrid working with both remote and in clinic work.
