Level Designer - Star Citizen
As a Level Designer on Star Citizen, you will be working as part of a larger Design team to help create cutting edge gameplay and level content within a meticulously crafted, multiplayer online space sim. With a diverse selection of locations and themes throughout, join the FPS team and help us create something truly special.

What does a Level Designer at CIG do?
- Design and implement gameplay content that pushes the boundaries and quality for Star Citizen.
- Implementation of mission flow and logic in our proprietary engine and visual scripting software.
- Assist in the creation of incredibly realistic and breath-taking environments by working closely with the Art Environment team and blocking out spaces for gameplay.
- Contribute to design discussions and assist in solving various design challenges that strive for quality above all else.
- Implementation of feedback from Design leads and balancing content based on playtesting.

What do we expect from a Level Designer?
- Demonstratable knowledge of modern game engines (such as Unreal Engine 4/5, CryEngine or Unity) with examples of personal/professional work or group projects showcasing visual scripting and layouts.
- Able to easily work with others in a friendly and positive environment, communicating vision between departments and the ability to give/receive feedback willingly.
- Highly pro-active with good organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of Game and Level Design philosophies, including spatial design.
- Experience developing levels with a multiplayer focus in an open world or MMO environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines, at times unsupervised whilst delivering consistently high-quality standards.
- A passion to make incredible games.
