Chase Terrace Primary School

Contract

Permanent - Term Time only plus inset days

Hours

8.40am – 3.20pm Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute lunch break)

Hours per week

30hrs and 50 minutes based on a 37hr FTE contract.

Salary

Grade 5 SCP 7-9 (£27,274 - £28,153 per annum FTE) £14.14 - £14.59 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will primarily work within our Early Years Foundation Stage and must hold, or be willing to obtain, Paediatric First Aid certification to support our youngest pupils.

The role will include supporting teaching and learning, delivering interventions, providing occasional class cover, and administering first aid when required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Has experience of working with primary aged children, in particular EYFS
  • Holds a Paediatric First Aid qualification or is willing to undertake training
  • Is committed to supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve success
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative
  • Has a positive attitude and a nurturing approach
  • Demonstrates high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
