A leading investment banking platform is looking to appoint an Associate into its growing Leveraged Finance team in London.
The platform advises corporates, private equity sponsors and financial investors across a broad range of leveraged financing transactions, including acquisition finance, LBOs, refinancing and recapitalisations.
This is an opportunity to join a highly active platform with strong deal flow and significant exposure to live transactions. The role offers direct interaction with senior bankers, sponsors, management teams and lenders, alongside the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility across transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution across leveraged finance and debt financing mandates
- Build and review LBO, debt capacity and financing models
- Analyse capital structures, leverage and financing options
- Prepare client presentations, lender materials and transaction documentation
- Manage workstreams across sponsors, management teams, lenders and advisers
- Support origination through market analysis and pitch materials
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years’ experience in leveraged finance, investment banking or debt advisory
- Strong financial modelling and transaction execution skills
- Good understanding of debt markets, capital structures and LBO financing
- Experience managing junior team members and transaction workstreams
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in leveraged finance and credit
- Strong academic background and proven track record within a high-performing team
