Simpson Judge is recruiting a Leveraged Finance Associate or Senior Associate for a London law firm. The role offers substantial involvement in acquisition and leveraged finance transactions, including cross-border matters, and the opportunity to take responsibility for key parts of deals.
The team is interested in speaking with lawyers from UK, US and international firms who want to develop their practice and take on greater responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions.
- Draft, review and negotiate facility agreements, security documents and other transaction documents.
- Manage workstreams from initial structuring through signing and completion.
- Work directly with clients, counterparties and advisers.
- Supervise and support junior lawyers where appropriate.
Requirements
- Around 5 years’ PQE or more in leveraged finance or a closely related banking and finance practice.
- Experience with acquisition finance transactions and finance documentation.
- The ability to run substantial parts of a transaction with appropriate partner support.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and client communication skills.
