Leveraged Finance Solicitor | 2–6 PQE | London
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Leveraged Finance solicitor to join the London office of an elite international law firm.
The firm’s highly regarded finance practice advises leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporates on complex, high-value, and frequently cross-border transactions. Its integrated approach brings together leveraged finance and capital markets expertise, giving associates exposure to sophisticated financing structures involving both English and US debt products.
The role will involve:
- Advising on complex domestic and multi-jurisdictional leveraged finance transactions
- Acting for major financial institutions, sponsors, and corporate borrowers
- Working on acquisition financings, refinancings, restructurings, and transactions incorporating capital markets elements
- Collaborating closely with market-leading lawyers across the firm’s international network
- Taking on meaningful responsibility and direct client exposure within a collegiate team

Candidate requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with approximately 2–6 years’ PQE
- Strong leveraged finance experience gained at a top London or US law firm
- Excellent technical ability and a strong academic record
- Experience handling sophisticated, high-value, and cross-border transactions
- A commercially minded and collaborative approach
- The confidence to manage responsibility and communicate effectively with clients
