Leveraged Finance/ Banking Paralegal
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: 12 month FTC
Experience: Transactional Banking / Finance
We are partnered with a leading international law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal or Support Lawyer to join its Structured Finance team, supporting a range of leveraged finance and structured finance transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with transactional banking experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment and is confident managing multiple transactions and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support structured finance and leveraged finance transactions from signing through to completion.
- Prepare, review and manage transaction documentation.
- Coordinate deal processes, workstreams and key deadlines.
- Maintain transaction checklists, conditions precedent trackers and closing documents.
- Manage signing and closing processes.
- Liaise with lawyers, clients, lenders, financial institutions and external advisers.
- Monitor transaction timetables and flag potential issues.
- Manage post-completion requirements and maintain transaction records.

Candidate Requirements
- Law degree, LPC/SQE 1 or equivalent legal qualification, including foreign-qualified lawyers.
- Previous experience supporting banking, leveraged finance, structured finance or other debt-related transactions.
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles and deal execution.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple live transactions and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility to work outside standard UK hours when required, including collaboration with Asia-Pacific teams.
