Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers – Amesbury Depot (Full-Time/Permanent)
About the Role
We are recruiting for Multi Drop Distribution Drivers at our Amesbury Depot within the Müller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.
Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently deliver product from our distribution depots to supermarkets across the network, including loading, reloading, and ensuring timely deliveries.

You will work full-time on a permanent basis.
Location & Work Schedule
- Depot Location: Amesbury (SP4 7SZ)
- Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 (Wednesday to Sunday), with Monday and Tuesday as days off
- Start Time: Between 12:00–15:00
- Rate of Pay:
- £17.30 per hour (depending on shift pattern)
- Up to £28.42 per hour
- Overtime rate: £19.46 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Prioritise safety – Respect all road users and maintain a highly professional approach in dealings with customers.
- Perform all pre and post-drive vehicle checks diligently.
- Plan routes efficiently, anticipating safety restrictions, roadworks, and traffic to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Act as a face to the customer, maintaining excellent professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements & Key Skills
- HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
- Current CPC and valid digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs, or INs)
- Must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role (e.g., loading and unloading goods).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
