Role Overview
We are looking to recruit an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of electrical consumable products from our Leeds site (LS9 0SG) to retail outlets across the north of England,
Working to a pre-planned schedule, you will ensure that products are delivered on time to customer premises and that all safety procedures are followed.
You’ll use your manual handling skills to offload goods safely, some of which can be heavy, and provide a professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to Customers safely and efficiently
- Ensure the products are loaded correctly and correct use of straps to ensure they are secure
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed

What You Will Bring To The Role
- A full, valid driving LGV Class 2 licence
- At least 12 months commercial LGV Class 2 driving experience
- Experience of delivering electrical items
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG codes)
- A valid DCPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent communication skills
- To be customer-focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
- To be able to work within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary
