LGV Class 2 Lorry Loader (HIAB) Driver

Rigid HIAB delivery and on-site lifting operations

About The Role

We’re looking for LGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers who hold HIAB / loader crane certification and have experience carrying out lifting and delivery work across varied project environments.

This role supports the transport and on-site lifting of plant, materials, and specialist equipment using rigid HIAB-equipped vehicles.

In Practice, The Role Involves:

  • Delivering plant, materials, and equipment using Class 2 HIAB vehicles
  • Operating the loader crane (HIAB) for safe loading and unloading
  • Positioning materials and equipment accurately on site
  • Coordinating with site teams to ensure lifts are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Working across the South Coast and nationwide on a wide range of industrial, infrastructure, and specialist projects

The role suits experienced LGV Class 2 drivers who have experience operating loader cranes, understand safe lifting practices, and are comfortable working within structured site environments.

What we’re looking for

This role is best suited to LGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers with HIAB / loader crane certification who are confident carrying out lifting and delivery work as part of coordinated site operations.

You’re Likely a Good Fit If You:

  • Hold a valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Hold a current HIAB / loader crane qualification
  • Have experience delivering and lifting plant, materials, or specialist equipment
  • Are confident carrying out lifting operations in line with site requirements
  • Understand the importance of communication, planning, and safe working practices
