Location: Peterhead

Duration: Temp - up to 3 months

Work type: Full time - 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a fully qualified LGV Class 2 Driver to operate on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule out of our Peterhead site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 2 vehicles in a safe and effective manner, minimising the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property
  • Adhere to all ASCO policies and procedures
  • Perform daily safety and vehicle maintenance checks through the Driver App
  • Advise the Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored
  • Ensure loads are correctly secured and weight distribution does not exceed permitted limits
  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations, where required
  • Accept, start and complete all relevant deliveries and collections using the Transport Management System (TMS) via the ASCO App on the vehicle phone
  • Ensure signatures are obtained through the ASCO App as proof of delivery
  • Complete all relevant delivery and collection documentation accurately
  • Ensure all loads are transported and delivered safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers, colleagues and other road users

Qualifications:

  • LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
