Job Details
Job Title: Class C Multi Drop Driver
Location: Basingstoke
Work Pattern: 40 hours per week
Salary: £39,212.16 per annum
Summary of Role
Alliance Healthcare is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Class C Multi Drop Driver to join our distribution team. You will play a vital role in delivering pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare products to customers across the region, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time. As one of the key faces of our business, you will provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and road safety.
Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all products are delivered accurately and in accordance with delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service as a key point of contact for customers.
- Report any delivery discrepancies, shortages, or errors promptly.
- Complete and maintain all delivery documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all road safety, health and safety, and company compliance requirements.
- Conduct vehicle checks and maintain a safe standard of driving at all times.
- Support colleagues and contribute to the success of the wider distribution team.
Skills and Knowledge
- Full UK Class C driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver, LGV Driver, or similar.
- Strong understanding of road safety and driving regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling deliveries and paperwork.
- Reliable, professional, and well-presented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical product distribution.
- Knowledge of multi-drop delivery routes and logistics operations.
- Experience using handheld delivery or tracking devices.
- Understanding of transport and compliance procedures.
- Flexible approach to working hours and business needs.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field required.
- Certification in forklift operation, licensure in commercial vehicle operation appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials or equivalent preferred.
