Join Our Team at Hills!
We are looking for a LGV Driver (Class 1) to join our team in Shorncote. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.
What is the role all about?
As our LGV Driver (Class 1), you’ll be playing a key part in transporting and delivering essential materials safely, efficiently and professionally.
We operate a modern fleet of articulated, 4-wheel, and 8-wheel rigid vehicles, transporting aggregates, soils and site clearance materials across the region.
What you will be doing:
As our LGV Driver (Class 1), you will:
- Safely operating Class 1 articulated vehicles and rigid vehicles (4 & 8 wheel) as required.
- Transporting aggregates, soils, and site clearance materials to and from customer sites.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly.
- Completing relevant paperwork, transaction documents, and delivery notes accurately.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- A valid Class 1 LGV licence (C+E), CPC & Digi Tacho
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to meet agreed daily targets.
- Good communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork.
Desirable:
- Previous Tipper experience.
- MPQC site safety awareness.
