LGV Driver/Loader

£32,597 - £33,699 per annum (Market Forces apply) (subject to 26/27 pay review)
37 hours per week
We do things well and keep developing.
Join the recycling and refuse team as an LGV Driver Loader and be part of the vital crew keeping the area clean, safe, and reducing the environmental impact of waste.
You will have a full class C drivers’ licence, and be able to do heavy lifting and walk long distances on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a Current Class C Driving licence for large Goods Vehicles, which is essential, and a valid Drivers CPC, which is desirable.
- Have the level of fitness necessary to carry out the physical duties of the post such as walking long distances and heavy lifting on a daily basis.
- Be available for occasional weekend work.
- Enjoy helping people, remaining patient, level-headed, and cool under pressure.
- Think on your feet when things change, being flexible and putting safety first.
- Be motivated and team focussed, working as a team, and getting it right first time.
- Understand that to get the job done well you will step out of the driver`s seat to help the team as a loader where needed.
