Job Description
What you can expect
Main Duties
- Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
- Processing customer request and booking shipments in line with customer request
- Raising accurate shipment files in Rhenus’ in house forwarding system (ROCS) and all associated documents.
- Ensure all costs & sales are entered for each shipment and highlighting any loss making files to the Team Leader
- Receiving quotation enquiries for both Air import and export shipments
- Answering Overseas office e-mails.
- Dealing directly with the Airlines to obtain rates and make bookings
- Following up on customer quotations for feedback.
- Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, engaging with customers on a regular basis
- Liaising with suppliers / carriers in the booking of shipments
- General office duties including filing of documentation and shipment files

Skills & Experience
- Experienced in the handling of import / export multi modal shipments
- Must be able to complete / understanding of Airfreight processes
- Experience of DG by Air preferred, but not essential.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Package
