The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Liaison Librarian to work with the Cambridge West Team, to support library services across designated departments with responsibilities for teaching, research support and collection development, contributing to the needs of a diverse academic community within an innovative and forward-looking setting.

As Liaison Librarian (CST/CEB) you will

  • Deliver library services across the West Cambridge Site.
  • Lead on Academic liaison with the designated Departments.
  • Lead on training sessions in these areas and support colleagues more generally across West Cambridge.
  • Support the West Hub Library Manager to shape library services across Cambridge West based on department's needs.

What we are looking for

  • A professional enthusiastic about building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of developing and delivering training.
  • Enthusiastic about promoting library services through outreach, guidance and personalised support.
  • Proactive and innovative in finding solutions.
  • Flexible to work at and visit multiple buildings.
