We are seeking an inspiring and proactive Knowledge and Library Services Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service that supports outstanding patient care, education, research and organisational learning.

You will lead a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and excellent customer service. You will coordinate, develop and evaluate the service, ensuring it remains innovative, responsive and aligned to the needs of staff and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, delivering and continuously improving a range of library and knowledge services, ensuring they remain relevant, accessible and responsive to all users.
• Managing, selecting and renewing print and digital resources using usage data, stakeholder feedback, service priorities and budget considerations to maximise value and impact.
• Producing reports and statistical returns, monitoring service performance, demonstrating impact and using data and feedback to inform service developments and improvements.
• Identifying service priorities and determining the activities required to deliver the Strategic Library Plan and support organisational objectives.
• Managing the newly refurbished library spaces, alongside digital service provision.
• Leading a small team, providing direction, support and development to enable high levels of performance.
• Managing competing priorities, coordinating workloads and designing rotas to ensure services are delivered effectively.
• Building productive relationships with colleagues across the Trust and working collaboratively with local NHS library networks and NHS England to contribute to regional and national priorities, share best practice and support service development.
