Library Officer | Chorley Library | Salary £28,142 - £32,061 Per Annum | 37 Hours Per Week | Permanent | Library Service | Chorley

The post available is:
Library Officer for Chorley Library
37 hours per week
What you'll be doing:
As a Library Officer, you will lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day operations of the library.
- Planning and delivering a wide range of events (e.g. author events, class visits).
- Supporting customers with digital services (e.g. eBooks, passport applications).
- Building partnerships with local organisations.
- Monitoring performance and ensuring service excellence.
You will be appointed to a library base(s), but there will be an expectation that you will work at other libraries as required.
Hours of work are listed against the available post and are a set working pattern over two weeks, please see the rota attachment at the bottom of the advert. These hours cannot be changed.

All applicants are invited to attend an online information session at the above time and date. The information sessions will be led by library management and provide information about our library service and an explanation of the Library Officer role and their duties.

Please note the salary quoted for this position is the full time equivalent. These positions are part time, therefore, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
