Do you want to help shape how a modern library service works?

As the Library Service Delivery Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day delivery and coordination of Rutland Libraries across our four library sites. Working closely with the Library Team Leader and other library colleagues, you will help ensure that our services, systems and working practices are effective, consistent and responsive to the needs of our staff and communities. The role will also deputise for the Library Team Leader, supporting operational leadership across the service.

About The Role

Your duties will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day service delivery across Rutland’s four libraries, supporting consistent working practices, procedures and customer service standards, and providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Coordinating the effective management and development of the library management system and associated digital systems, including public IT, self-service, printing and Wi-Fi, working with IT teams, suppliers and partners as required.
  • Coordinating library data, performance information and reporting, using information and analysis to support service planning, monitoring, statutory returns and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the Library Team Leader with staff coordination, training and operational issues, including line management responsibility for designated casual library staff, and supporting relevant income-generating activities, contracts and resources.
  • Deputising for the Library Team Leader as required, providing day-to-day operational leadership and exercising delegated authority to support the continuity and effective delivery of the service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
