Here Is What You Will Do
The University Library is seeking to hire a Library Associate II on a full-time basis at our Clarkston campus. The scope of the responsibilities will include these essential duties but is not limited to the following:
- Deliver prompt, high-quality support by addressing and resolving user inquiries and issues.
- Monitor and respond to departmental communications, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Complete assigned and self-selected training and workshops on the use of library systems, including updates and changes in workflows, functions, and procedures.
- Perform data entry, reporting, and record management.
- Communicate updates, issues, and concerns promptly in accordance with procedures.
- Assist with collecting, organizing, and maintaining departmental data to support operations and decision-making.
- Assist as needed in departmental projects and specialized initiatives.
- Other duties assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements
- Recent experience in a college or university
- Familiarity with the use of computers
- Knowledge of library circulation processes in an automated environment
