Library/Resource Centre Assistant
Oswestry Library has a vacancy for a Library/Resource Centre Assistant to work as part of a team delivering library services in Oswestry. The main duties of the post will be to operate the library efficiently, providing a positive experience to all customers and ensuring a safe and welcoming community space.
The Library/Resource Centre Assistant works at the designated library alongside other members of the Libraries Team. The team are responsible for delivering an efficient and effective library and information service at the designated library.

The post holder will need a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be confident in using computers and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for libraries.

Hours
- Required to be worked on Thursdays and Saturdays
- Additional hours may be available from time to time to cover for staff absences
