Ashlings Legal

Ashlings Legal is an ambitious and growing law firm based in Manchester city centre. We are expanding our Property Department and are looking for an experienced Property Lawyer, Licensed Conveyancer or Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to join us at an exciting stage of our growth journey.

This is more than just another conveyancing role. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape and build a thriving Residential and Commercial Property Department, with genuine opportunities to progress into senior leadership roles and Partnership as the firm continues to grow.

If you are ambitious, commercially minded and enjoy taking ownership of your work, this is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a developing practice where your contribution will have a direct impact on the firm's success.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling a mixture of residential and commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.

Your work will include:

  • Residential sales and purchases
  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • New build matters
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Commercial property sales and acquisitions
  • Commercial leases, assignments and renewals
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Refinancing and secured lending transactions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
