Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at TherapyMantra. The counselor will provide online individual, couples, and family counseling sessions using secure video and chat-based tools, adhering to ethical and professional standards. - Conducting intake assessments
- Developing and updating treatment plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions
- Monitoring client progress
- Collaborating with other mental health professionals as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participating in case consultations and supervision
- Supporting clients with crisis planning
- Offering psychoeducation
- Contributing to a compassionate, inclusive, and client-centered therapeutic environment
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based, client-centered therapeutic approaches.
- Demonstrated skills in Treatment Planning, including assessment, goal setting, and ongoing adjustment of interventions.
- Experience in Relationship Counseling, including couples and family dynamics, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Case Management, including coordination of care, referrals, and follow-up to support holistic client outcomes.
- Active licensure (e.g., LMHC, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) in the relevant jurisdiction and eligibility to provide online counseling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong professional boundaries, and commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Comfort with telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and delivering therapy in a remote, technology-enabled environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage a part-time caseload, and serve clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
