Job Title: Licensing & Marketing Coordinator
Department: Paramount Products & Experiences
Reports to: Senior Director Licensing, UK & Ireland
Direct Reports: N/A
Key Function:
This is an incredible opportunity to begin your career in entertainment working across some of the biggest and well-known franchises within family entertainment.
Principal Accountabilities
Sales
- Create and manage regular updates communication to partners including sales, brand & franchise, marketing, case studies and ad-hoc
- Support category teams to prepare and build pitch decks for key meetings including liaison with internal stakeholders to gain support and meet deadlines
- Own category listings documents across all LOBs, including visual sales presenters for key meetings
- Support category & retail leads in researching and identifying new business opportunities (in line with strategy), identifying contacts and setting up meetings
- Act as central coordinator for key events including Brand Licensing Europe, London, Las Vegas Licensing Expo, LA & London Toy Fair and Spring & Autumn Fair (and others as required)
- Translate consumer, retail and category insights into concise recommendations that support commercial decision making in line with strategy.
- Own UK licensing new business development tracker & ensure updates are entered prior to meetings
- Own onboarding process for new licensees
- Work closely with franchise teams to ensure pitches align with franchise priorities and timings.
- Own relationship with agent for DTC retail channel for Amazon (and others as required)
- Manage system access requests to CP Central
- Manage creative asset access (incl. NDA, giving access, sending files, etc.)
- Support with deal approval requests
Partner & Product Management
- Collate, form and manage the licensee product image & sample database
- Ensure key partner contact and mailing lists are maintained
- Work with licensees to ensure team have key product samples
Internal Communications
- Be the central internal point of contact for UK and international offices
- Own regular summaries to share with internal (UK & international) stakeholders incl. brand updates and UK performance updates
- Follow up from key meetings with summary, actions and next steps and proactively set up follow ups as relevant.
Financial
- Support category team to cross reference budget Vs forecast incl. (with finance) preparation for review meetings and ensure partners submit royalty statement submissions & make payments on time.
- Support in setting partner accounts up on internal systems, including raising POs as needed.
Legal
- Support category team in fortnightly legal meetings, ensuring deals are routing in a timely manner.
- Support category teams in inputting and routing deals through systems and legal.
- Track contract end dates to flag to category team so they commence contract renewals min 6 months ahead of end date
- Support Business & Legal Affairs on category specific needs incl. counterfeit complaints, shipping, customs and brand registry

Retail & Marketing
- Support preparation for retail meetings through tailored product lists, consumer insights and category trends & coordinate pitches across licensing, creative, franchise, finance & insights.
- Maintain shared calendar of retailer priorities, buying windows and buyers
- Work closely with insights & analytics team to capture licensee ASINS that facilitate reliable EPOS and sell through data
- Ensure marketing assets are up to date and ready for campaign launches.
- Marketing operations (marketing budget, invoices, vendor registration)
- Marketing assets approval
- Support Retail & Marketing Director with licensee marketing
- Update sales materials
- Competitor analysis
Trade Show & Events
- Work closely with marketing teams on invites and organization of trade shows from invitations to RSVP’s and event management
Ad hoc department administrative support
- Coordinate cross functional projects ensuring stakeholders remain aligned, actions are tracked and deadlines achieved
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve team productivity, automate routine tasks and enhance research, presentations and reporting
- Manage diary & travel for Senior Director & Retail Director
- Own internal key retail & category meeting calendar for internal stakeholders
- Support the team on ad-hoc projects
- Identify opportunities to improve team processes, simplify ways of working and implement best practice across UK team
- Maintain team sharepoint (internal & external)
Team & Culture
- Own onboarding for new team members joining
- Forge relationships with coordinators from across Paramount landscape including Paramount+, Paramount Pictures and international offices.
- Demonstrate a proactive, inclusive and collaborative mind-set when working with all stakeholders
- Champion and promote the needs of licensees within broader Paramount organization (UK and Global)
- Enthusiasm and interest in media, consumer products and licensing.
