Role Description

The Licensing Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing and growing brand licensing programs across assigned territories and categories. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Developing licensing strategies aligned with brand positioning

The role involves managing the full licensing cycle, from prospecting and pitching potential partners to negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. The Licensing Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive category plans, review product concepts, and ensure timely launches. Regular reporting, pipeline management, and relationship-building with key licensees and retailers are central to this position.

  • Brand Licensing and Licensing skills to manage portfolios and develop strategic licensing programs.
  • Analytical Skills to assess market data, sales performance, and retail trends for informed decision-making.
  • Contract Negotiation and Communication skills to secure favorable agreements and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Experience in brand management, merchandising, or retail buying is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard business software tools.
  • Prior experience in licensing, entertainment, consumer products, or related fields is an advantage.
