Global Licensing Manager

London/ Manchester | Excellent Salary + Bonus + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Global Licensing Manager to join a growing international brand business with an expanding portfolio of fashion, lifestyle, and consumer brands. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead and develop the licensing business across the UK, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. This is a highly visible commercial role with responsibility for both managing existing licensing relationships and driving new business opportunities across categories and territories.

You will be responsible for growing licensing revenue, expanding categories, identifying new markets, and developing long-term partnerships with licensees around the world. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded licensing professional who enjoys creating opportunities, opening new doors, and building sustainable revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new licensing partnerships across multiple categories and territories.
  • Develop opportunities across traditional licensing, Direct-to-Retail, and DTC channels.
  • Research markets, categories, and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing licensees.
  • Attend international trade shows and industry events.
  • Develop category extension opportunities and new commercial initiatives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and licensing agreements.
  • Work closely with legal teams through contract execution, renewals, and amendments.
  • Partner with licensing agents and international representatives to expand brand reach.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop short and long-term licensing growth plans.
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and budget processes.
  • Analyse licensee performance, sales trends, and commercial opportunities.
  • Present recommendations and business updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive revenue growth and maximize royalty income across the portfolio.

Brand & Licensee Management

  • Manage relationships with licensees across multiple territories.
  • Support product launches and seasonal reviews.
  • Monitor distribution, retail execution, and market performance.
  • Collaborate with internal design, product, and commercial teams.
  • Ensure brand standards and commercial objectives are achieved.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience within licensing, brand partnerships, or related commercial roles.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience developing new business opportunities and growing revenue streams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability.
  • The ability to work independently whilst collaborating across multiple functions.
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe and North America.
