This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.
Join our team as a Licensing Specialist supporting Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) customers. In this role, you will manage licensing compliance reviews at scale, provide actionable insights, and help customers optimize their software usage while ensuring compliance.
We are seeking a dynamic professional with excellent German language skills, both spoken and written, to support our expanding client base in German-speaking markets. The ideal candidate will be comfortable drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations in German, as well as conducting meetings and calls.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable German speaking Licensing Specialist to support the client’s Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB customers). This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and analytical skills to manage a high volume of self-declaration style licensing reviews and cyber services across a broad SMB customer base. These reviews are designed to support compliance assurance and generate tailored insights based on industry benchmarks and customer segmentation. Using a technology-enabled model, the licensing specialist will engage a large volume of customers efficiently, whilst contributing to revenue generation through insights that support the client’s licensing model. While support and training will be provided, proactivity, self-sufficiency, flexibility in adaption to changing environments, and a strong work ethic are vital.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
