An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Officer to work in the Environmental Health and Licensing Team providing a regulatory service to keep residents safe and well.
This role involves processing licensing applications across all the taxi licensing functions, as well as carrying out various checks to ensure any new or existing licence holder meet the Councils policy requirements through the course of their licence. There will also be a requirement to provide other support to the Environmental Health team, as and when required. It is a busy team, and you will work alongside other Licensing/ Environmental Health Support Officers.
You must have good administration experience, with excellent IT skills, and be able to work efficiently in a busy team, whilst having good attention to detail. You will be dealing directly with those applying for licences daily at the Council offices, so will need to attend on site. Your application should demonstrate how you meet the requirements in the role profile.
