Salary
£30,000 Base increasing up to £36,000 + Uncapped Commission | £45,000+ OTE | No Cold Calling!
Turn a previous “no” into a new opportunity.
Sometimes, securing life insurance isn’t straightforward. A customer may have previously been declined or had their application postponed because of their health or lifestyle, but that doesn’t necessarily mean their journey ends there.
That's where you come in.
At Protect Line, we’re looking for an experienced sales professional to reconnect with customers who have previously been declined or postponed for cover and explore whether there could now be another option available. You’ll take ownership of these customers, managing your own pipeline and progressing opportunities from that first conversation through to an outcome.
This isn’t your typical sales role. You’ll combine your sales ability, problem-solving skills and people skills to understand each customer’s circumstances, explore potential options with insurers and help them navigate what can sometimes be a complex and sensitive journey.
And there’s NO cold calling. You’ll be speaking to customers who have previously engaged with us about protecting themselves and their loved ones.
Why You'll Love It Here
- £30,000 starting salary – increasing up to £36,000 through our clear and realistic progression pathway
- Uncapped commission – realistic earnings of £45,000+, top performers earn £80,000+
- Sales Progression Pathway – unlock higher basic salaries, car allowance and wellbeing allowance which can include gym membership, a cleaner, car valeting, weekly food subscriptions and much more!
- No Cold Calling – you'll be reconnecting with customers who have previously enquired about life insurance

- Legendary Company Events – because hard work deserves celebrating

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll reconnect with customers whose life insurance applications have previously been declined or postponed, taking the time to understand their circumstances and explore whether there could now be another route to cover.
A big part of this role is taking ownership of your own customer pipeline. You’ll manage multiple customers at different stages of their journey, knowing what needs to happen next, following up at the right time and keeping things moving towards an outcome.
Some applications may require additional information or conversations with insurers before a decision can be reached, so you’ll need to be proactive, organised and comfortable managing customers over time. You’ll build relationships, maintain momentum and make sure opportunities don’t get lost along the way.
You’ll work closely with customers and insurers, gathering additional information, progressing applications and keeping customers informed and supported throughout the process.
This is a role that combines sales, pipeline management, problem-solving and attention to detail. You’ll need the drive to spot opportunities and progress them, while also having the patience and organisation to manage a varied pipeline effectively.
