Role Description
The Life Insurance Specialist role at Tavistock Protect is a full-time, on-site position based in Londonderry. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their personal and financial circumstances, assessing protection needs, and recommending appropriate life insurance and related products. - Conducting consultations
- Preparing tailored insurance proposals
- Managing applications
- Ensuring policies are set up accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
The Life Insurance Specialist will maintain regular contact with clients, provide ongoing support, and deliver a high standard of customer service. The role also includes working closely with colleagues, contributing to team targets, and participating in training and development opportunities within the Tavistock Investments Group.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Insurance and Life Insurance knowledge, with an understanding of protection products and underwriting principles.
- Candidates should possess Insurance Sales and Sales skills, including the ability to identify client needs, present solutions clearly, and work towards agreed performance targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a client-focused approach, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to build long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to interpret client financial situations and align life insurance recommendations with broader financial planning goals.
- Relevant experience in financial services, protection advice, or a similar client-facing role is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance, are essential.
- Professional qualifications in financial services or insurance, or a willingness to undertake industry-recognized training and certifications, are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to a structured yet entrepreneurial business model is important.
