Join Our Team as a European Water Purification Specialist (Technical Sales) at Avidity Science!
Are you commercially minded with strong technical expertise? Avidity Science is looking for an experienced European Water Purification Specialist (EMEA) to join our Global Life Science team.
This is a strategic, customer-facing technical sales role where you’ll drive growth across the European market, building relationships, supporting sales teams, and acting as a trusted technical expert.
Role Location & Working Pattern
- Location: Remote (UK-based), with regular travel across Europe and to our Long Crendon office required.
- Role type: Full-time
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

As a European Water Purification Specialist, you will:
- Act as the European technical authority for water purification systems
- Collaborate with field sales and account teams to support and win business
- Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support
- Drive commercial growth through technical expertise and influence
- Develop and support distributors and sales teams across multiple countries
- Deliver demonstrations, customer training, and workshops
- Support key strategic customer projects
- Represent Avidity Science at industry events
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
In your first 6 months: travel extensively across Europe, reducing thereafter, build strong distributor and customer relationships, support demonstrations and training, identify growth opportunities, and establish yourself as a recognised subject matter expert
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially aware, technically strong individual who thrives in an international, customer-facing environment.
Helpful experience:
- Experience with water purification systems, laboratory instrumentation, or related technologies
- Experience supporting distributors across multiple countries
- Commercial experience within the water purification industry
- Experience working within a distribution network

Languages:
- Fluency in French and/or German is highly desirable
Working Conditions
This role involves extensive travel across Europe and regular engagement with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Reasonable adjustments may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
