Background Checks

This role will require an Enhanced DBS Check with Child Barred List. If you are included on a child barred list, you will be breaking the law by applying for this role.

Are you passionate about providing excellent levels of customer service, and want to work in an environment where you’ll be supported to grow and develop? If this sounds like you, then we have the perfect role for you.

Warwick Sports has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Lifeguard.

Working within the state-of-the-art Sports hub facilities, you’ll work alongside a vibrant team of motivated individuals with one aim – to provide first-class customer service, ensuring our customers feel safe and always cared for.

As well as your lifeguarding duties, half of your role will involve support across the sports hub, from cleaning duties to working closely with Front of House teams with various tasks including equipment setup, event support, resolving customer queries, and increasing our membership base by providing accurate information on products and services.

In this role, no two days will be the same. You’ll also have the chance to rotate between our different venues supporting the front of house teams, which includes the Sports Hub, Games Hall, Cryfield Pavilion, and Tennis Centre, working within different areas of each and supporting duties as directed by Duty Managers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
