We have an exciting opportunity for a Lifeguard at Places Leisure. You'll work in a vibrant, lively environment with likeminded individuals. Your role will inspire others and help them deliver their best.
While a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is beneficial, if you're safety conscious, a competent swimmer, and eager to gain valuable life skills, we'll support you in achieving this qualification through our continuous learning and development programs.
Starting as a Lifeguard with us opens up various career paths, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, and Customer Service. We offer ongoing training, competency assessments, and opportunities for first aid at work training, swimming teacher qualifications, and various apprenticeship routes.

Essential:
- National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities.
- Act safely, ensuring the health and safety of all pool users.
- Oversee building operations.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and ensure the safety of our customers.
- Provide first-class customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure facilities are clean and act on cleanliness standards.
