Lifestyle Concierge Assistant

Salary: £27,500 + uncapped commission
Hours: Full-time
Location: Newport, South Wales – hybrid working
Company: Otium Concierge Limited

About Otium Concierge

Otium Concierge is a boutique lifestyle concierge company supporting busy individuals, entrepreneurs, executives, and families across the UK and internationally.

From the practical to the prestigious, our clients rely on us to make life easier. One day you might be arranging a restaurant or travel itinerary; the next you could be sourcing something difficult to find, coordinating a household project, or helping a family relocate.

No two clients – or days – are the same.

We’re looking for a confident, exceptionally organised, and commercially minded Lifestyle Concierge Assistant to join our growing team.

The Role

At its heart, this is a client-facing lifestyle concierge role. You’ll manage requests from start to finish, build trusted relationships with clients and suppliers, and find solutions when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.

But we’re a small and growing business, so we don’t work in silos.

You’ll be expected to support your colleagues with their roles when required, contribute ideas, and play an active part in the growth of Otium.

A key part of the role will also be helping us expand our network of trusted suppliers and develop commercial partnerships with businesses around the world. We want someone who can spot opportunities, confidently approach potential partners, and build relationships that create value for Otium, our clients, and our partners.

You’ll also be expected to network, generate leads, and identify opportunities to introduce new clients to Otium.

Alongside your £27,500 salary, you’ll have the opportunity to earn uncapped commission on new business you generate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lifestyle Concierge

  • Managing lifestyle requests from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Researching and arranging restaurants, travel, experiences, events, and tickets
  • Sourcing products, gifts, and specialist services
  • Coordinating appointments, deliveries, household services, contractors, and other requirements
  • Obtaining quotes and presenting clear, considered options to clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients and learning their individual preferences
  • Proactively identifying ways we can make our clients’ lives easier
  • Liaising confidently with suppliers and third parties in the UK and internationally
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring nothing gets missed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Commercial Partnerships & Supplier Network

An important part of this role will be helping us continually strengthen and expand Otium’s global supplier network.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Research and identify high-quality suppliers and partners in the UK and internationally
  • Proactively approach potential suppliers and commercial partners
  • Develop commercial and referral partnerships with suppliers worldwide
  • Negotiate preferential rates, added-value benefits, referral arrangements, and commercial terms where appropriate
  • Build long-term relationships rather than simply contacting suppliers when we need something
  • Identify opportunities for reciprocal referrals and introductions
  • Continually expand our network across travel, hospitality, events, luxury goods, property, household services, and other lifestyle categories
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure our clients continue to receive an excellent service
  • Identify new destinations, services, and partners that could benefit our clients
  • Look for opportunities to generate additional revenue for Otium through our supplier and partner network

We don’t expect you to already have a worldwide little black book. We do expect you to be confident enough to start building one.

Business Development & Networking

Everyone within Otium contributes to our growth.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Attend relevant networking events and confidently represent Otium
  • Generate and follow up new business leads
  • Build relationships with potential introducers and referral partners
  • Spot opportunities within your own network and day-to-day conversations
  • Develop relationships with businesses whose clients could benefit from Otium
  • Contribute ideas for reaching new clients and audiences
  • Help turn relationships into genuine commercial opportunities

There is no cap on the commission you can earn from new business you introduce.

Working as a Team

We’re a boutique business, which means teamwork matters.

You’ll have your own responsibilities, but you’ll also be expected to support your colleagues with their roles when required, particularly during busy periods, annual leave, or simply when something needs getting done.

Likewise, you’ll have the support of the wider team when you need it.

We’re looking for someone who naturally thinks “How can I help?” rather than “That’s not my job.”

Personality and attitude matter enormously in this role.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident – comfortable picking up the phone, approaching a new supplier, attending an event, or speaking with a high-net-worth client
  • Exceptionally organised – able to keep multiple requests, relationships, and deadlines moving
  • Commercially minded – able to recognise where a relationship could become a commercial opportunity
  • Resourceful – if you don’t know the answer or the right person, you’ll find them
  • Personable – someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships
  • Proactive – you don’t wait for opportunities to land in your inbox
  • A confident negotiator – comfortable discussing rates, benefits, and commercial arrangements
  • Calm under pressure – plans change and occasionally things go wrong
  • Discreet and trustworthy – you’ll handle private and sometimes sensitive information
  • A natural networker – comfortable developing relationships online and in person
  • A team player – willing to step in and support colleagues when needed
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems

Experience within luxury hospitality, travel, events, private client services, executive assistance, property, customer service, or another high-service environment would be advantageous, but we’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and potential.

What Success Looks Like

Our clients should feel that once they’ve handed something to you, they no longer need to think about it.

You’ll become someone they trust to get things done while developing an increasingly valuable international network of suppliers and partners.

You’ll contribute to Otium’s growth not only through excellent client service, but by creating commercial relationships, generating opportunities, and introducing new business.

As Otium grows, we want this role to grow too.

Why Join Otium?

Otium isn’t a huge corporate where you’ll disappear into one department.

We’re a growing boutique business where good people can make a noticeable difference.

You’ll have genuine responsibility, exposure to an enormous variety of requests and clients, the opportunity to develop an international network, and the freedom to grow your role as the business develops.

£27,500 salary + uncapped commission.

If you’re confident, organised, ambitious, commercially minded, and the sort of person who loves making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
