About Us
TGR Haas F1 Team has been a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for over a decade, with more than 200 Grand Prix starts. As the first American F1 team since 1986, we made an immediate impact with a points-scoring debut in 2016 – and we’re still building momentum today.
With operations across Kannapolis (USA), Banbury (UK), and Maranello (Italy), we are a performance-driven, hands-on racing team where every contribution matters.
Here, you’ll have visibility, responsibility, and the chance to make a real difference.
We’re not a corporate machine, we’re a team built on passion, speed, and innovation.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of Business Process or their designee, this position is based in Banbury (UK), and plays a key role in managing and maintaining Part Lifing information within the company’s Life Management System.
You’ll work closely with factory and trackside teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and effective management of lifing data across product design, build, manufacturing, and race activities, supporting reliability, compliance, and operational performance.
The fixed-term nature of the position reflects a temporary increase in workload within the Engineering function during a critical phase of the Formula 1 car build programme. Additional resource is required to support lifing activities and ensure continuity throughout the upcoming car build period. The role is therefore being offered on an 8-month fixed-term basis.
Workload is expected to peak during this time, with increased demand for component life tracking, data management, and engineering support. This role is necessary to maintain adequate resource levels and mitigate any risk to delivery during this business-critical phase. It is anticipated that, following completion of the car build programme and transition into the race season, workload levels will return to normal and the requirement for this additional resource will cease.

- Build and maintain the Part Lifing Structure within the Life Management System.

- Ensure part lifing identification and limits are established through the design process.
- Report any lifing-related non-conformances to Reliability and Design Engineers within the Design Department.
- Ensure physical part marking aligns with the lifing structure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
