Lift Consultant
Are you an experienced Lift Consultant looking for your next opportunity? ILECS is looking for a Lift Consultant, ideally based in or around London, to join our growing team. This is a remote, home-based position with travel required to client sites.
As part of our consultancy team, you’ll manage client relationships and projects while delivering independent lift and escalator consultancy services.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop, manage and grow client accounts across the full range of ILECS services
- Prepare and issue fee proposals
- Carry out site surveys, maintenance audits and risk assessments
- Prepare and issue technical reports
- Manage projects to ILECS standards, including specifications, tendering, evaluations, meetings, reviews, payment certificates and witness testing

What we’re looking for
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with a recognised or LEIA-registered lift company
- Minimum 2 years’ previous consultancy experience
- Strong knowledge of lift and escalator standards and codes
- Project management and on-site works experience
- Strong technical knowledge, with previous field-based experience advantageous
- Commercial awareness with good time management and productivity skills
- Strong communication skills, with people management experience desirable
- Lift and escalator sales experience across new installations, modernisation and maintenance would be advantageous

Desirable qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 or HNC
- FdSc in Lift Engineering
- MSc in Lift Engineering
- NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications
