Role Description

The Lift Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for delivering safe, efficient lift services to customers across the UK. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Diagnosing faults
  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work on lifting equipment
  • Supporting the commissioning of new installations in coordination with on-site teams

The Lift Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts, sharing technical insights and helping optimize service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong technical skills in lifting equipment, including familiarity with different lift systems and components.
  • Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair, including fault diagnosis, planned maintenance, and corrective repairs.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess solid health & safety knowledge, including safe working practices, risk assessment awareness, and adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship in lift engineering, electrical, or mechanical disciplines is beneficial.
  • Experience in field service or lift engineering within industrial, commercial, or residential environments is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote capacity, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for reporting and communication.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
