Salary, Benefits and Hours

GBP40,000:GBP50,000 per annum, depending on experience

  • Unlimited overtime available, with enhanced rates up to double time
  • Monday:Friday, 40:hour working week
  • Company van, fuel card, phone and laptop provided
  • Salary review upon successful completion of probation

Role Overview

  • Carry out planned maintenance, service and repair work on a range of lift equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring safe and effective repairs
  • Support customers across commercial, hospitality and industrial environments
  • Participate in a 1:in:5 on:call rota, providing emergency breakdown support when required
  • Complete service documentation and maintain high standards of customer service

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is essential
  • Previous experience servicing and repairing passenger and goods lifts
  • Strong fault:finding skills with both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
  • Honest, reliable and confident seeking assistance when required

Desirable Experience

  • Experience across a variety of lift manufacturers
  • Previous involvement in call:out and breakdown support
  • Exposure to hospitality, commercial or industrial lift environments
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Further technical qualifications within lift engineering

Work Location

  • Regional field service position
  • Opportunities available across Devon and Cornwall and South Wales
  • Mixture of planned maintenance, repairs and breakdown attendance
  • Home:based role with travel throughout your designated patch
  • Occasional participation in the out:of:hours call rota
