At KONE, we’re looking for a skilled Lift Staff Tester to join our team, working across a range of lift installations and projects and playing a critical role in ensuring our equipment is safe, compliant and ready to be handed over to our customers.

What will you be doing?
As a Lift Staff Tester, you’ll take responsibility for the testing and commissioning of newly installed and modernised lift equipment.
Your role will include:
- Completing final safety checks and ensuring equipment is ready for handover
- Identifying, diagnosing and resolving technical issues during the testing process
- Working closely with installation teams, supervisors and project colleagues to resolve defects efficiently
- Completing testing documentation and ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Supporting the delivery of projects to the required safety, quality and programme standards
- Providing technical guidance and sharing your expertise with colleagues
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with KONE's health and safety procedures
- Testing and commissioning lifts in line with KONE procedures.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with strong technical lift knowledge who takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience testing and commissioning lifts
- A strong technical understanding of lift systems, electrical systems and associated equipment
- Relevant lift engineering qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A thorough understanding of lift safety and compliance requirements
- The confidence to work independently and make technical decisions
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams
- A full UK driving licence
Experience working across different lift manufacturers or technologies would be an advantage.
