Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Tutor – Greater Manchester
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum | Full-time | Permanent
TR2 Recruitment is working with a leading training provider to recruit a Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Tutor for their site in Trafford Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle professional with the relevant trade and teaching qualifications to join a supportive training environment and help develop the next generation of skilled vehicle technicians.
The Role
As a Vehicle Maintenance Tutor, you will deliver high-quality Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance training, combining practical workshop delivery with classroom-based theory.
You Will
- Deliver Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance training
- Provide practical and theory-based instruction
- Support learners throughout their programme
- Assess and mark learner work
- Prepare engaging lessons and learning materials
- Provide guidance, feedback and support to help learners achieve their qualifications
- Maintain a safe, professional and positive workshop environment

The working week is structured around four days of teaching and one day dedicated to marking and lesson preparation. Following successful completion of probation, the marking and planning day can be worked from home.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle professional who has a genuine interest in teaching and developing learners.
You Will Need
- Relevant Motor Vehicle/Vehicle Maintenance trade qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Strong practical experience within the automotive industry
- The ability to deliver Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to engage, motivate and support learners
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety

Salary & Benefits
- Circa £35,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent position
- Working hours: 7:30am – 3:00pm
- 25 days' annual leave + 8 bank holidays
- 4 days teaching + 1 day marking/lesson preparation
- Home working available one day per week following successful probation
