Role Description
The Lighting Designer / Junior Lighting Designer will contribute to the design and delivery of architectural lighting schemes for commercial, residential, and public spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves coordinating with internal team members and external partners, assisting with lighting calculations, and supporting site visits and mock-ups as needed. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of office-based collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The position is suited to individuals who are detail-focused, eager to learn, and comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting, with the ability to translate design intent into coherent lighting schemes.
- Experience with Lighting Control systems and a solid understanding of general Lighting principles and technologies.
- Awareness of Interior Design considerations and how lighting supports spatial, material, and aesthetic goals.
- Relevant design or engineering qualification (e.g., architecture, interior design, lighting design, electrical engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to use design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar, plus lighting calculation software (e.g., Dialux, Relux) is beneficial.
- Strong visual communication skills, including preparation of drawings, diagrams, and presentation materials.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time across multiple projects.
