We are looking for an Equipment Technician to join our Flash department at Panalux in Hayes, London!

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) requiring flexibility for a weekly shift rotation of early (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and late (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM) shifts, with approximately one weekend shift per month.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Thoroughly prepare and rigorously test a wide range of lighting cables and lighting products, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, and carry out first line repairs on flash equipment to maximise lifespan and reliability.
  • Ensure all prepared and maintained equipment adheres strictly to relevant safety regulations and Panalux's internal standards.
  • Work closely with the warehouse, dispatch, and other prep teams to facilitate the smooth and efficient flow of equipment through the preparation process.
  • Liaise with shift leaders and Head of Departments on any equipment issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and contributing to efficient equipment dispatch and inventory management practices.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in an operations role within a warehouse or professional lighting environment.
  • Demonstratable experience in testing, maintaining and preparing lighting equipment within a rental house is preferable.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service, adhering to tight deadlines whilst supplying quality products.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Familiarity with common safety regulations and best practices in the handling and maintenance of electrical equipment.
