Job Title: Line Chef

Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS

Reports to: Head Chef

Shifts: 5 over 7 days a week shift rotation

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented line chef to join our Food Production team. At Ashridge House we cater to a wide range of dining experiences from banqueting and barbequing to high-end restaurant and traditional café dining. We pride ourselves on using local, seasonal and sustainable nose to tail produce whilst working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

The role will suit a self-motivated chef who has experience in a high-volume kitchen. We want a passionate individual who can handle a fast-paced kitchen and who can support our team in providing the highest level of service to our customers. This opportunity will allow you to grow your skillset, find your strengths and your areas for development which we can work with you on!

Responsibilities Include

  • Produce high quality food to meet specified dietary requirements
  • Quality control of each dish in both execution and presentation
  • Clearly communicating with the front of house team to ensure smooth service delivery

Candidate Profile

  • Strong team-player
  • Clear communication
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, high standards kitchen
  • High level of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Able to cover a variety of shifts from 6am-2pm, 7 days a week
  • Must be able to commute to Ashridge House
