Line Operatives

Newstaff Employment Services, Milton Keynes are currently recruiting Line Production Operatives to join our client's busy manufacturing team.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable candidates looking for long-term employment.

Duties

  • Erecting cardboard cartons and attaching labels
  • Carrying out quality inspections on products
  • Stacking completed boxes onto pallets
  • Moving cartons and bulk bins to and from production machines
  • Completing production paperwork accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Able to read and write English with good numerical skills
  • Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Come from an industrial background

Shift Pattern

Pay

  • £12.95 per hour, plus a 20% shift premium for all hours worked
  • Equivalent pay rate: £15.54 per hour
