Bloomberg LP has built a significant Media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. Bloomberg TV is looking for a highly motivated Line Producer to join our EMEA team in London. The role will be focused on our live morning news shows, primarily Bloomberg's flagship European markets show The Opening Trade.

You must have demonstrated skills in TV news production including script writing, creating graphics and videos, and stacking a rundown. You must be able to embrace challenges, make split-second decisions, and thrive in a breaking news situation.

We'll Trust You To

  • Build a daily two-hour show rundown that reflects Bloomberg's editorial priorities and utilizes our global resources
  • Output live shows from the control room
  • Be able to pivot and react to breaking news
  • Write sharp, engaging copy, and produce relevant elements for guest intros, teases and headlines
  • Ensure all scripts, graphics, and editorial content meet Bloomberg's standards for accuracy and clarity
  • Lead team editorial meetings and speak confidently about top market-moving stories
  • Take direction from the senior producer and execute tasks with minimal supervision

You'll Need To Have

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional editorial judgement
  • Deep knowledge of financial markets and business news
  • Organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Flexibility to work early mornings
