The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance
As our Linen Porter, you are the engine behind the scenes of our housekeeping operation. You will not be making the beds, but you will be the reason the beds get made. You will manage the heavy lifting, push the linen cages, sort the stock, and ensure our Room Attendants have exactly what they need, right when they need it, to deliver spotless rooms.

Your Shift: What You Will Actually Be Doing
We do not just need someone to count sheets on a clipboard. We need a proactive, highly organised operator. We trust you to handle:
- The Heavy Lifting: Moving the stock. You will receive, sort, and distribute clean linen cages to the housekeeping teams, while managing the collection of soiled linen for the laundry. It is a physical job, and safe manual handling is an absolute must.
- The Team Support: Being the backbone. You will act as the ultimate support system for the Room Attendants and Public Area Cleaners, replenishing their cupboards and running supplies to the floors so they can focus entirely on the guests.
- The Organisation: Setting the standard. You will take total pride in maintaining the linen rooms and storage cupboards, keeping them spotless, safe, and perfectly organised so the team can grab what they need in seconds.
- The Stock Control: Protecting the budget. You will monitor our daily linen usage, report any damage or shortages immediately, and support the weekly stock counts to ensure we never run short on a busy changeover day.
