Linen Porter – Pre-Opening Team Opportunity

Location: Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch

We are seeking an experienced Linen Porter to join our pre-opening team for Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.


About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to:

  • Join the founding team of Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch
  • Help shape the guest experience at this iconic landmark hotel
  • Contribute to delivering time-critical pre-opening housekeeping tasks

The hotel is located at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace, and will boast:

  • 100 elegant rooms and suites
  • 17,500 sqft of private residences
  • Two signature restaurants by Michelin-starred chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud
  • A world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and grand event spaces

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the pre-opening launch team excursions
  • Assist in room preparation, laundered linen replacement and setup
  • Contribute to housekeeping processes and formations during pre-opening

Requirements

To be considered for this role, we seek hospitality professionals who:

  • Are passionate about delivering an exceptional 5-star guest experience
  • Have a proven track record of consistent five-star service standards (supported by Forbes recognition)
  • Possess leadership and organisational skills in high-pressure environments
  • Are prepared to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays to meet deadlines
