LINGERIE ACCOUNT MANAGER

M.C Xccessories is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Lingerie-Focused Account Manager to join our small team based in Waterloo, London.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the lingerie industry, with strong product and market knowledge, established industry contacts and a proven ability to generate new business while managing and developing core lingerie accounts.

This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive, organised and commercially minded individual who enjoys building strong client relationships and working collaboratively across design, technical and production.

The successful candidate will also be open to learning and developing additional product categories.

Salary

£38,000–£40,000 per annum FT

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the full order lifecycle, including sampling, costing, price negotiations, critical path tracking and delivery updates.
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key customers, buyers and factories.
  • Take full ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring excellent communication and service throughout the development and production process.
  • Lead client meetings and showroom appointments.
  • Confirm orders, manage customer account systems and ensure all relevant information is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage critical paths and proactively identify and resolve any issues that could impact deadlines or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reporting and account documentation.
  • Work closely with the Design Team to ensure products meet brand identity, customer expectations and target price points.
  • Support the product development process with relevant technical and commercial knowledge.
  • Understand the fundamentals of product testing, test reports and product safety, working closely with the Technical Manager where required.
  • Drive account growth through seasonal strategy, range planning and identifying new opportunities within existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce and develop new categories with existing accounts.
  • Proactively generate, develop and convert new business leads.
  • Bring industry knowledge, relationships and contacts to help expand the company's customer base.
  • Present key lessons learned and performance insights to the wider team, helping to measure results against KPIs.
  • Travel overseas, including to China, for factory visits, sourcing and competitor/comp shopping, supporting the Design Team from an Account Management perspective.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the lingerie industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lingerie products, customers, suppliers and the wider market.
  • An established network of relevant industry contacts.
  • Experience managing customer accounts from development through to delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with confidence around pricing, margins and negotiation.
  • A proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence communicating with buyers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • A self-starter attitude, with a collaborative approach and genuine drive to grow accounts and deliver results.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to take ownership.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with sales data, forecasts and reporting.
  • An understanding of lingerie technical requirements, product testing and development.
  • A willingness to learn and take on responsibility across additional product categories.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
